Process

Utilizing Figma, I created vector illustrations and drafted an initial visual concept and storyboard, dedicating approximately 20 hours towards establishing a preliminary draft with roughly 40% of design decisions finalized. Following a constructive client consultation, I incorporated proposed revisions within 4-6 days, completing the project expeditiously based on the feedback provided.

Leveraging Figma's illustration capabilities and Jitter's animation tools dramatically accelerated production, increasing efficiency tenfold compared to traditional After Effects workflows. I utilized After Effects only for complex motions and final compilation, with approximately 90% of the project completed beforehand. Once the client secured voiceover talent, I restructured pacing in just 4 hours to match the new narration, wrapping up the remaining tweaks in a few days. Overall, combining these platforms enabled rapid iteration and adaptation, culminating in a visually engaging and seamless animated video aligned to the voiceover narrative. The project was both rewarding to work on and exemplified how choosing the right tools can enhance collaboration and creativity.
