In this project, I developed a sophisticated deep learning model for detecting and segmenting brain tumors in medical images. My role as a Data Scientist included:
Real-Time Tumor Detection: Utilized the YOLOv8 algorithm to achieve precise, real-time tumor detection, essential for timely diagnostics in medical imaging.
Accurate Tumor Segmentation: Implemented the SAM (Segment Anything Model) to enhance segmentation accuracy, ensuring precise delineation of detected tumors for improved treatment planning.
Data Preprocessing and Model Training: Conducted extensive data preprocessing, followed by model training and testing to maximize detection accuracy and reliability.
This project highlights my expertise in machine learning, image analysis, and healthcare AI solutions, emphasizing my ability to create impactful, data-driven insights for critical applications in medical diagnostics.
