In this project, I developed a sophisticated deep learning model for detecting and segmenting brain tumors in medical images. My role as a Data Scientist included:
Real-Time Tumor Detection: Utilized the YOLOv8 algorithm to achieve precise, real-time tumor detection, essential for timely diagnostics in medical imaging.
Accurate Tumor Segmentation: Implemented the SAM (Segment Anything Model) to enhance segmentation accuracy, ensuring precise delineation of detected tumors for improved treatment planning.
Data Preprocessing and Model Training: Conducted extensive data preprocessing, followed by model training and testing to maximize detection accuracy and reliability.
