I conducted an in-depth analysis of a focus group discussion involving community partners on the recruitment and retention of nurses in the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) sector. The project aimed to identify key challenges, policy gaps, and actionable solutions to improve nursing support within this specialized field.

Thematic Analysis: Organized and coded responses into six key policy themes—Administration, Support, Compensation, Training, Education, and Awareness.

Reporting & Insights: Delivered a structured report highlighting recurring challenges, suggested improvements, and potential policy interventions.

This research provided valuable recommendations for stakeholders, guiding strategic decisions to enhance workforce development in the IDD nursing sector.
