This project was a full redesign and rebuild of an existing brand: The Journey, now rebranded as Go Superlative
The goal was to translate a bold new brand identity into a fully functional website that connects with its core audience ambitious teenagers who want to build businesses, launch ideas, and stand out early in life
About the Brand Rebrand
Why rebrand?
The founder felt “The Journey” no longer matched the energy or ambition of their program
The mission stayed the same:help teens build real things and discover what they’re capable of but the name had to evolve
That’s how Go Superlative was born.
"Superlative" means the highest quality, and that’s exactly what they wanted their brand, users, and outcomes to reflect
Target Audience
This site was built specifically for teenagers between 14 and 18 who:
Want to start something of their own
Are creative and bold
Like to experiment with projects or startups
Need a space that feels like it belongs to them, not something corporate or boring
So the site had to be fun, energetic, and inspiring without feeling like school

Key Challenges and Solutions
Challenge:
In the mid stages, the vision for some sections wasn’t fully clear. That led to repeated changes and slowed down progress
Solution:
To fix this, I started sharing daily progress updates with the founder on Slack. This made communication super smooth, and every decision became faster. It cut down confusion and revisions by a lot, and we were always on the same page
Final Outcome
In the end, we launched a complete website that feels fresh, exciting, and truly represents the new Go Superlative brand. It reflects the original mission but with a much stronger identity and better user experience
From colors to layout, every piece of the site now speaks directly to the teens it’s built for. The founder was happy, and the site is ready to grow as the brand grows
