Overview

Creative direction across multiple DTC food and beverage clients, spanning packaging design, campaign visuals, brand character development, and visual identity systems.

The Work

Working with DTC food and beverage brands at various stages of growth, I've led creative direction that bridges brand strategy and visual execution. This includes:
Packaging design and art direction. For DTC brands, packaging is often the first physical touchpoint with the customer. I've directed packaging projects that balance shelf appeal with brand storytelling, ensuring every element from color palette to typography reinforces the brand's positioning.
Campaign visual development. I've created and directed campaign visuals for product launches, seasonal promotions, and brand awareness pushes across paid social, email, and owned channels. The focus is always on stopping the scroll while staying true to the brand voice.
Brand character design. For brands that benefit from a mascot or character-driven identity, I've led the development of brand characters that add personality and memorability to the visual system. These characters carry across packaging, social content, and advertising.
Visual identity systems. Beyond individual assets, I build cohesive visual systems that scale. This means creating guidelines, templates, and asset libraries that let internal teams and external vendors produce on-brand work without constant oversight.

Approach

Every creative decision ties back to the brand strategy and business goals. I don't design in a vacuum. The visual direction is always informed by the target audience, competitive landscape, channel requirements, and conversion data. The result is creative work that looks great and performs.
