The automotive industry is going trough a major transition to electric power, and the stakes of making a successful car are drasitically changing.

The experience delivered by the vehicle is now the tipping marketing point, as Audi showed it with their breathtaking concepts like the Skysphyere & Grandsphere.

The Tesla ecosystem, the apple CarPlay, and the integration of Google systems like Polestar is doing, is proof that the overall experience will be soon more represented by the software/hardware interactions, than the actual physical interior & exterior design, that is becoming more of branding extension.

So I've been asking myself what could create an even smoother experience than always use a third-tier app (Tesla, MyBmw..) to digitally interact with your vehicle.

What if we could integrate natively all those informations and controls in familiar places that just sounds right, like your control center, just like the apple homekit integration for domotics. Companies sure should be making their softwares more opened to integrations like these.

Lock, unlock, turn on the AC, start your car, summon your car according to the distance, get the direction when you're lost on a parking lot.. those are few examples we can think of.

Got an upcoming update for the car's software ? New features to test ? A space dedicated to your car for customized remote controls and most important datas.

Imagine integrating this system with the power of automations. For example, if a new hardware maintenance is needed, you'll get a notification and a reminder with limite date added to your calendar. This is such benefits of relying on already existing and well maintained OS, that do so much more than just being contextual to the car.

With a carkey in your wallet, you would be ready to go.
