Wink | E-Commerce SaaS Onboarding Design for Store Setup Flow
Most store setup flows dump every field on the founder at once language, payments, security, store name, all on one overwhelming screen. New users stall, skip critical steps, or abandon setup entirely before they ever launch.
We designed Wink's onboarding flow as a clean 4-step setup screen built for first-time store owners who need a guided start without friction. The left panel holds the full step map; the right panel shows only what's needed for the current step. White surface, no distractions, one decision at a time.
4-Step Progress Panel: Preferences, Name, Payments, and Security are listed on the left; users see the full journey without feeling buried in it.
Shop Preferences Form: Language (English), Country (United States), and Currency (USD) in three clean dropdowns the three decisions every store needs before anything else.
Split Layout: Step tracker left, active form right. Context and action are always visible together without scrolling.
Skip Logic: Steps 3 and 4 explicitly allow skipping, reducing abandonment for founders not ready to set up payments on day one.
Save and Continue CTA: Single black button, bottom right, one clear next action per step, nothing competing with it.
Tools: Figma, Jitter
