I used several particle systems in Houdini and Cinema 4D (No AI) in this dual format deployment, rendering millions of particles  in Karma and Redshift. I built more than 3 minutes worth of 4K particles to specifically select the parts I wanted to prepare the sequences for this short teaser. 

Where the line between reality and illusion blurs, where characters grapple with their inner demons while navigating a web of family drama and ancient prophecies, lies “The First Step on The Path to Truth”. The protagonist battles schizophrenia and isolation within his wealthy family while becoming intertwined with mysterious Void-based light powers that both empower him and threaten his sanity.

The duality of the void (dark) and the light is what I wanted to use as the main narrative axis. As I had full freedom to develop the creativity and graphics as I desired, I proposed simple yet powerful imagery, with a bit of a dreamy and technological feel. Also, I really like to—as much as possible—to connect the graphics with the book cover. In this case, and as the book cover featured a vortex, I went for a way to directly drive the viewers through that void storm of feelings that ends in a mental vortex.
