I have extensive experience in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). Currently, I'm a core member of Fedora's DEI team and act as a DEI advisor for the Council. I lead the organization of initiatives such as Fedora Appreciation Week, Fedora Mentor Summit, and Fedora Week of Diversity to spotlight the different members and their noteworthy contributions to the community and projects they work on.
Additionally, I'm a member of the Code of Conduct Committees for both Fedora and LibreOffice, ensuring that our spaces are safe, respectful, and accommodating for all community members.
Furthermore, I enjoy conducting DEI-focused workshops at conferences such as Flock to Fedora, GUADEC, and GNOME Asia. My workshops focus on topics such as Impostor Syndrome and Unconscious Bias. These sessions are designed to educate and empower participants to recognize and address challenges within their respective communities.
Through these endeavors, I am committed to creating environments where every individual feels valued, respected, and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives and skills.
