Money in Your Twenties Financial Workbook - Copy Editor

"Money in Your Twenties: The Financial Workbook for the Young, Rich & Responsible" is Mykail James's debut book. I had the pleasure of providing copy editing, proofreading, along with mini-consultant services. James wanted the workbook to be easily-digestible and applicable for young professionals.

The goal of this project was to provide copy editing services for the entirety of the financial workbook. Through consultation, revisions, proofreading, and copy and line editing, I presented an improved and polished draft that resonated with James and her audience. We worked with various programs to accomplish the goal. Despite working remotely across different time zones and coasts, I successfully collaborated with the James to ensure a seamless workflow.

James expressed high satisfaction with my work on this project and reached out to me for additional service inquiries. In addition, she has published the workbook with additional sections, content, and copy to further cater to her audeince.

Working on this project allowed me to learn more about finances and showcase my expertise in copy editing and consulting while also contributing to a meaningful goal. James will go on to write more successful works and I hope to collaborate with her in the future.
