McComb-Veazey Coterie: Restoring Historical Communities

LAFAYETTE, La. — With the celebration of McComb-Veazey Neighborhood Coterie’s annual meeting, residents were excited to see and participate in positive change. Through collaboration and determination, the coterie is working to revitalize the neighborhood with equitable initiatives and grassroots building. As the largest concentrated area of blighted and adjudicated properties in Lafayette, community revitalization is hopeful and necessary.
