Project Description:
I was contracted by physician to design and develop a mobile health application aimed at helping users track their fitness, nutrition, and overall health metrics. The client required an intuitive, user-friendly interface with robust functionality to support a wide range of health tracking features.

Database: MongoDB

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:
Initial Consultation and Requirement Gathering:
Conducted meetings with the client to understand their vision, target audience, and specific requirements.
Defined the project scope, timeline, and deliverables.
Design and UX/UI Development:
Created wireframes and mockups to visualize the app layout and user interface.
Designed a clean, modern, and visually appealing user interface using Figma.
Ensured the design was user-friendly and accessible, providing a seamless experience across iOS and Android devices.
Front-End Development:
Implemented the approved design using React Native to ensure cross-platform compatibility.
Developed interactive and dynamic user interfaces with smooth transitions and animations.
Ensured the app was responsive and optimized for performance on various screen sizes.
Back-End Development:
Developed the server-side logic using Node.js and Express.js.
Set up a MongoDB database to manage user data, health metrics, and app settings.
Integrated third-party APIs for fitness tracking (e.g., Apple HealthKit, Google Fit) and nutrition databases.
Health Tracking Features:
Developed a user authentication system with secure registration and login.
Implemented fitness tracking features including step counting, workout logging, and goal setting.
Created nutrition tracking functionality with a food diary, calorie counter, and nutrient analysis.
Added health metrics tracking for sleep, hydration, and weight management.
Integrated personalized health insights and recommendations based on user data.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Conducted extensive testing, including unit tests, integration tests, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Identified and resolved bugs and performance issues to ensure a smooth user experience.
Deployment and Maintenance:
Deployed the app to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Provided documentation and training to the client for managing app updates and user support.
Offered ongoing support and maintenance to address any issues and implement new features as needed.
