This automation connects your Calendly bookings directly to your CRM so that as soon as an invitee schedules a meeting, their lead record is updated to the correct stage—no more manual status changes and full visibility into your pipeline at all times.

Overview

When a prospect books a meeting via Calendly, a trigger fires (via webhook or Zapier) that identifies the corresponding lead in your CRM and updates its status field to “Meeting Scheduled” (or whichever stage you choose). This keeps your sales funnel current without any manual data entry, so you always know exactly which leads are actively engaging.

How It Works

Trigger Setup
Use Calendly’s native webhook or a Zapier “Invitee Created” trigger to watch for new bookings.
Lead Matching
The automation searches your CRM for a lead with the same email (or phone number) as the Calendly invitee.
Status Update
Upon finding the matching record, it updates the lead’s status field to your chosen stage (e.g., “Meeting Scheduled”).
Optional Notifications
