Western Balkans COVID-19 Dashboard

The COVID-19 Dashboard was created to allow USAID and the broader public to understand the impact of the pandemic on health, real economy, financial markets, and government policies in the Western Balkans. The dashboard covers six countries- Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Albania, and North Macedonia. The dashboard offers country-level views as well as comparative views across the region. The dashboard can be used to inform policies and programs that will support these economies and assess the viability of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the Western Balkans in coming years. The dashboard contains reliable and internationally recognized data sources.

In my capacity, I worked on researching reliable sources of data for the following indicators: Real Economy and Financial Markets. I was in charge of developing the services for automatically fetching, storing and updating the values of the indicators mentioned above. I also integrated these data with the frontend.
