Guy Talk

I was a director for Guy Talk.

Guy Talk is a series of video sketches created to support Guy Talk Pakistan which is an adaptation of the #GlobalGuyTalk initiative, which gathers a group of guys to start conversations and think critically to enhance their roles in society. The sketches, written by Farjad Nabi, act as starting points to stimulate conversations where men can openly discuss and share perspectives on what they feel are important but are rarely talked about in public, and challenges the toxic traits of what it means to be a man. The series was made possible with the help of the Embassy of Sweden in Pakistan, Dastak Women Rights and Awareness Foundation, Make Equal (the original team behind Global Guy Talk), UN Women, Rozan and OLOMOPOLO, who took charge of the production and marketing of the sketches online. The topics I worked on were fatherhood, ego, and the pressure of being financially strong in society.
