Overview

The Cura Marketing website, designed for a health tech brand, was a collaborative project to establish a professional and visually engaging online presence. The client provided a well-defined UI design, which I implemented precisely, creating a polished, functional, and responsive website.
The objective was to build a 6-page website and 2 additional template-based pages that reflect the brand's services and offer an intuitive user experience. The site needed to align with the health tech focus while being optimized for SEO and responsive across all devices.

Choice of Technology

Webflow was chosen as the development platform due to its robust visual editor and ease of use. The client preferred minimal custom code to facilitate site management post-launch, making Webflow the ideal choice. Its CMS capabilities allowed for dynamic content management, ensuring flexibility and scalability.

Implementation Process

The build process began by interpreting the design system from Figma to create a comprehensive style guide within Webflow. This style guide included global classes, typography settings, and colour schemes, ensuring consistency throughout the site.
Next, reusable components were developed for recurring sections such as headers, footers, and call-to-action blocks. These components allowed for efficient page construction while maintaining uniformity across the site.
The website was then built page by page, meticulously following the Figma designs. Each page was optimized for responsiveness, ensuring flawless performance on various devices and screen sizes. Attention was given to preserving the design integrity across desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
Finally, interactions were implemented using Webflow’s native animation tools. These included smooth transitions, hover effects, and subtle scroll animations to enhance the user experience. By adhering to the client’s request for minimal custom code, all interactions were kept manageable and easily adjustable for ongoing site maintenance.

Optimization and Testing

The site was optimized for performance with a focus on structured class naming, image compression, and clean, semantic HTML. Webflow’s native SEO tools were leveraged to improve visibility and search rankings, while responsive design ensured the site performed seamlessly on all devices. Extensive testing and QA processes were conducted to ensure cross-browser compatibility, smooth interactions, and mobile responsiveness. The site underwent rigorous validation to meet high-quality standards in both design and functionality.
The final product is a sleek, professional website that aligns with Cura Marketing's health tech mission, offering intuitive navigation and an optimized user experience.
