Areussports is a sports agency platform connecting professional athletes with clubs, brands, and opportunities. The platform needed individual profile pages for each athlete on their roster - pages that could present player data, statistics, availability, media, and brand partnerships in a structured, professional format without requiring manual code changes for every new player added.
The Brief
There was no Figma file. The client supplied PSD image references and the expectation was a faithful production-ready Webflow build that matched the visual direction as closely as possible. Design interpretation, CMS architecture, and all development decisions were mine to make and execute.
What I Built
A complete multi-page Webflow site, with centrepiece being a fully dynamic, CMS-powered athlete profile system - designed so that adding a new player to the platform required nothing more than filling in a form, not touching a line of code or rebuilding a page.
The CMS Architecture
The athlete profile page was built as a single CMS template that dynamically populates every visible element from structured collection fields - the player's name, position, club, nationality, date of birth, height, statistics, availability by season, profile photography, action shots, video highlights, social media handles, and brand partnerships.
One of the most deliberate architectural decision was the condition social media icon system - each social platform only appears on the profile if that field is populated in the CMS. A player with no TikTok account shows no TikTok icon. A player with LinkedIn but no YouTube shows exactly that combination. This keeps every profile clean and accurate without manual intervention, and was an approach I proposed and implemented independently - one the client specifically appreciated at handoff.
This meant the entire athlete roster could be managed from Webflow's CMS editor - adding players, updating availability, changing statistics, uploading new media - all without touching the design or development layer.
The Outcome
The platform launched with a scalable athlete profile system that grew with the business. Areussports has since expanded significantly - the site has been upgraded and new features added as the platform matured - which is a natural reflection of a business that outgrew its first build. The original CMS architecture and player page system I designed and built was the foundation that made that growth possible.
Note: The current live site at areussports.com has been upgraded beyond the original build. The player page shown here reflects the CMS-powered system I designed and developed.
What This Project Demonstrates
Full Webflow development from PSD references with no Figma file. Independent design interpretation and decision-making. CMS collection architecture for a scalable multi-player profile system. Conditional dynamic content - elements that appear or hide based on CMS field population. End-to-end ownership of a multi-page platform build.
Developed a CMS-powered athlete profile page system with conditional dynamic content for a sports agency from PSD. Built to scale across an entire player roster
