Liu's Cafe in Koreatown, Los Angeles

Liu's Cafe is a new fast casual restaurant that blends Taiwanese and Hong Kong cuisines in the heart of LA - Koreatown. I worked with the owners to create a traditional but modern, clean look to their brand book. The logo is inspired by the incredible marble seals of Asian culture which includes the Chinese Characters and English text.

The brand is cohesive with a light and fun feel while also bringing customers back to their traditional family roots and nostalgia.

Part of the project included designs for merchandise such as t-shirts, tote bags, and hats.

It was so much fun designing all the different packaging materials from plastic bags to packing tape to pastry boxes.
