I designed an editable Excel tracking system for home-service businesses that need a clearer way to manage customer estimates and follow-ups.

The challenge

Small contractors often track estimates across text messages, notebooks, and email. That makes it difficult to identify pending quotes, accepted work, and customers waiting for follow-up.

My solution

I built a structured workbook featuring:

An estimate management dashboard

Customer and quote tracking

Status dropdowns for pending, accepted, and declined estimates

Follow-up dates and overdue indicators

Summary calculations and reusable customer follow-up messages

Sample data and beginner-friendly instructions

My role

Spreadsheet structure, formula logic, dashboard design, usability, and testing.

A reusable spreadsheet tool that helps business owners organize estimates, identify outstanding opportunities, and review their follow-up workload.
