A strategic evolution from concept to a fully realised transit system for Riyadh's transportation network.

The Riyadh Transport Network (RCRC) previously had an app dedicated solely to bus services, which caused confusion due to its complex layout and led users to seek alternative modes of transport. With the upcoming launch of the metro in 2024, RCRC tasked me with revamping the app to encompass not only bus services but also metro, trams, micromobility, and DRT services.

Over the past 7 months, I have been deeply involved in this project, redesigning the app to address the challenges and enhance user experience. The updated app features over 500 screens and covers all use cases in both Arabic and English. After rigorous usability testing, the app has shown excellent performance and meets all the client’s requirements.

My efforts focused on creating a cohesive and user-friendly interface that integrates various transit options, ensuring a seamless experience for all users. The app is now in development and is set to launch by the end of this year.
