I am a Senior Product Designer at PixleeTurnTo (acquired by Emplifi) and Design lead for Creators by Pixlee. My role as the design lead required me to spearhead the entire end to end design process whilst working closely with Product Managers, Tech Leads, CSM's and other key stakeholders.

'Creators' is an end-to-end influencer management platform that has helped hundreds of brands connect with thousands of creators & influencers, leading to over 30 million pieces of content to be generated and captured within our system. Helping brands save millions of dollars on content costs and generate 10's of millions of dollars in influenced sales revenue.

This Discovery page was designed around the Instagram API that was available to us, allowing us to see limited public data until the creator has authorized their account with pixlee, and therefore allowing us to see more insights. A simple search filtering panel on the left with a scrollable list of creators. This list has pagination and a simple CTA to add to the brands CRM.
We wanted to make it very easy for brands to find the right influencers for their voice, and drive the highest performing content!

The Contacts list CRM is very easy to filter and navigate, this was designed as a space for brands to organize creators and begin reaching out to some who they may want to work with. Includes filters, tags and quick insights for the contacts. There is always a pixlee.me/brand link available to the brand to share manually with creators as well, so that they can invite influencers to sign up on pixlee.me.

Each Creator profile has public and/or authorized insights for each creator, contact info, tagging, note and file management. An activity feed tracking all content coming in, as well as any gifts, notes, message exchanges with the influencer. The brand can also find creator content insights and analytics.

Campaign briefs was thoroughly designed, tested, and researched both before and after release. The goal was to make it as easy as possible for the brand to communicate campaign guidelines and requirements, send any assets, to the creators in their campaign. We have succeeded as many of our enterprise customers have communicated that this flow is extremely simple and has increased their number of influencers in campaigns.

The content tab allows brands to easily track and organize their campaign content. This seamlessly integrates into Pixlee's content management system (CMS) which ties into the brands other workflows quite easily, unlocking more avenues to revenue. A usage example of this would be, a brand can use creators to drive content to a PDP gallery for this campaign. They can easily display this content on their brand website across all regions and accounts.

Context: PixleeTurnto x Emplifi Influencer Marketing

At the end of 2023, PixleeTurnto was acquired by Emplifi. Emplifi's Social Marketing Cloud consists of many products, one of which is their influencer marketing product. For Creators this was a new opportunity to marry 2 products into one, and unlocking new revenue streams through combined influencer databases, combined experiences, and shared customers.
My first role as a Senior Product Designer at Emplifi was to oversee a scalable MVP solution for the best-in-class combined experience of the 2 products.

How do we combine the PTT & Emplifi influencer products?  

Phase 1 - Combine Influencer databases

What
push Pixlee’s DB of social profiles (IG only) to Emplifi so that they are surface able in the Emplifi discovery section
Why:
Combining databases should give users more influencers to search through (needs validation)
Use Emplifi's AI capabilities to tag influencers interest, demographics, languages, etc
Use Emplifi's existing discovery UI (Pixlee UI is old and not worth redoing when we can just use the Emplifi UI)

Phase 2 - Combine PTT & Emplifi Influencer Products

What: 
Add Pixlee’s existing influencer functionality into the Emplifi Submodule.  
Port over existing campaigns functionality - I frame tech made this possible to start without the need to fuss over UI
Figure out how to combine all remaining features that are shared between Pixlee and Emplifis Influencer features (need detailed research and mapping of what can be combined)
Why:
Want to offer full influencers suite as a standalone submodule to sell separately
Once users discover Influencers via our combined discovery tool, the next step is being able to work with them through campaigns - need to combine our offerings for this to be possible
