Project brief
Develop a visually appealing website for an Amazon associate to effectively market and sell their products. The website should enhance user engagement and increase commissions while establishing a cohesive brand identity across various platforms.

Research journey
My foremost concern while working on this project was ensuring that everything was in compliance with Amazon's policies to prevent any risk of suspension or ban.
To equip myself with the necessary knowledge, I immersed myself in resources ranging from instructional videos to in-depth articles.
By doing this, I was able to familiarise myself with the dos and don'ts of the Amazon Associate programme.
Image Integration
In addition to studying the guidelines, I sought inspiration from existing Amazon Associate websites.
I analysed their layouts and features to find out how I can improve on them to provide a better user experience and increase my client’s commission rate.
Solution process:
1. Visuals
I wanted to ensure that users are fully immersed in the brand's unique world from the moment they land on the website, and to achieve this, I maintained consistency with the brand’s colour palette and typography.
Each image was carefully selected to not only highlight the products but also complement the brand and their social media's distinct 'brown' tone aesthetics.

2. Increasing user engagement
In order to capture website visitors,
I incorporated email subscriptions through a newsletter signup feature, along with pop up messages that encourage visitors to subscribe and create an account that allows them to conveniently maintain their personal wish list.

3. Maximising profit rate
Amazon's 90-day cookie for affiliate links lets affiliates earn commissions on purchases made within that period.
But the problem is most website visitors are not always ready to buy a product immediately.
This means, expired links equals no commission.
To solve this I created a ‘customizable/personal wishlist page’
This enables users to organize their desired items effectively.
And also feel more comfortable saving their products on Vividaire’s website till they are ready to buy.

Conclusion
Throughout this project, I engaged in a lot of research that influenced the design decisions for the website.
My role also included directing and designing the brand’s visual identity, creating social media visuals, and writing website content that effectively conveys the brand’s message.
This experience has deepened my understanding of design principles and reaffirmed the importance of user-centric approaches for business success.
Moving forward, I will continue to build upon these lessons to create engaging user experiences that strengthen brand identity and boost business growth.
