Designing Realtime Exchange, a DeFi superapp on MegaETH, involved shaping the product experience around the idea that a high-performance blockchain needs a unified financial interface rather than fragmented applications. Most DeFi ecosystems require users to jump between separate platforms for swapping, lending, borrowing, trading, or launching tokens, which creates friction, breaks user flows, and fragments liquidity. The goal of Realtime Exchange was to bring these core financial primitives into a single cohesive platform where users can perform multiple actions without leaving the product. As the product designer, I worked on structuring the product architecture, defining the core user journeys, and designing interfaces that allow users to seamlessly move between different financial actions while maintaining clarity and ease of use.

A key part of my work was translating MegaETH’s real-time infrastructure into an interface that supports fast decision-making and smooth interactions while keeping complex DeFi mechanics understandable. I designed the trading and liquidity experiences, simplified multi-step blockchain interactions, and established a scalable visual system that could support multiple financial tools within the same ecosystem. By focusing on clear information hierarchy, responsive transaction feedback, and efficient interaction patterns, the product enables users to access trading, liquidity, and other DeFi tools from a single unified environment. This approach not only improves usability but also strengthens the chain’s ecosystem by concentrating liquidity, reducing user friction, and creating a central hub where users can interact with the broader MegaETH network.
