Gato is an academy and group of jiu-jitsu fighters based in Canada headed by the athlete Gato, who has his journey of learning and knowledge in martial arts experienced in Asian countries and mainly in Brazil.

GATO in portuguese means cat. That's how he was nicknamed by other athletes in Brazil due to the color and the way his eyes shone during a fight. In addition to this imagery and universal reference that is the figure of a cat, I sought a more eccentric face of this feline universe, so we arrived at the Sphynx breed, which added its exotic and differentiated aspects. Together with an urban and cosmopolitan thought with a more relaxed and energetic language, like a fight on the mat.
