Volunteer Mentorship - Global Mentorship & Personal Development Platform
Volunteer Mentorship connects mentors, mentees ("proteges"), and contributors across a global learning network. I designed the landing page responsible for converting three distinct visitor types - people looking to learn, people willing to mentor, and organizations or individuals wanting to contribute - into signups, without any one group's messaging drowning out the others.
The challenge: A platform serving three different user roles usually ends up with a landing page that's either generic (speaking to no one specifically) or cluttered (trying to speak to everyone at once). The design needed clear, separate calls to action for each role while still feeling like one coherent platform.
The approach:
Hero section opens with an aspirational, singular message - "Learn Without Limits" - kept intentionally broad so it doesn't prematurely narrow the visitor into one role before they've had a chance to explore.
Trust stats (1,000+ Programs, 100,000+ Members, 110+ Countries) sit immediately below the fold, establishing platform credibility and scale before asking for any commitment.
Value proposition sections ("A Powerful Personal Development Tool," "Manage & Track Your Goals") use a simple icon-plus-text pattern to communicate benefit rather than feature lists, appropriate for a platform selling personal growth rather than software functionality.
Three parallel role sections - Become a Mentor, Become a Protege, Become a Contributor - each follow an identical visual pattern (photo or icon, short description, dedicated "Click Here to Apply" button), giving every visitor type equal visual weight and a clear, independent path forward rather than forcing everyone through one generic sign-up flow.
Footer navigation reinforces the same three-role structure under a "Become an..." heading, reflecting it back so the page's core structure holds together from hero to footer.
My role: Full landing page UX/UI design, layout, and multi-audience information architecture.
