Description

WAI Moment is an innovative marketing survey application designed to gather valuable insights from end users through interactive surveys conducted via tablets. The application is tailored to provide a fast, unique, and simple way for survey administrators to collect and analyze data in real-time. The primary target audience includes event marketers and field researchers who engage with participants to gain market insights.

Objectives

Engaging User Experience: Design an intuitive and engaging interface for survey administrators and participants.

📣 Efficiency: Develop a fast and reliable application to streamline the survey process.

📣 Real-time Data Collection: Enable real-time data collection and visualization.

📣 Mobile Responsiveness: Ensure the application is fully responsive and works seamlessly on tablets and other devices.

Process

1. Research and Planning

The project commenced with detailed research and planning to understand the client's needs and the expectations of end-users. This involved:

📣 Conducting stakeholder interviews to gather requirements.

📣 Reviewing existing survey tools to identify strengths and areas for improvement.

📣 Creating user personas and journey maps to visualize the user experience.

2. Wireframing and Prototyping

Using Figma, I developed wireframes and interactive prototypes to map out the structure and functionality of the app. Key screens included:

📣 Login and Authentication: A secure login page for survey administrators.

📣 Survey Dashboard: An overview of available surveys, with options to start, pause, or end surveys.

📣 Questionnaire Interface: User-friendly interface for participants to answer questions.

📣 Data Visualization: Real-time charts and graphs displaying survey results.

3. Design and Development

The design phase focused on creating a vibrant and user-friendly interface. Key design elements included:

📣 Color Scheme: A lively and engaging color palette to make the survey experience enjoyable.

📣 Typography: Clear and readable fonts to enhance accessibility.

📣 Icons and Graphics: Custom icons and illustrations to guide users through the survey process.

📣 The development phase involved:

📣 HTML and SCSS: Structuring the HTML and styling with SCSS for maintainable and modular code.

📣 JavaScript: Implementing functionality for real-time data collection and interaction.

📣 Responsive Design: Ensuring the app is fully responsive and performs well on tablets and other devices.

4. Testing and Iteration

The final phase involved thorough testing to ensure the app was robust and user-friendly. This included:

📣 User Testing: Conducting usability tests with target users to gather feedback.

📣 Cross-Device Testing: Ensuring compatibility across different devices and screen sizes.

📣 Performance Testing: Optimizing the app for fast load times and smooth interactions.

Results

The WAI Moment web tablet app was successfully launched, receiving positive feedback from both survey administrators and participants. Key achievements included:

📣 Enhanced Engagement: The engaging design and intuitive interface increased participant engagement.

📣 Efficient Data Collection: Administrators reported a significant improvement in the efficiency of data collection and analysis.

📣 Positive User Feedback: Users praised the app for its simplicity and ease of use, leading to higher satisfaction rates.

Conclusion
