This project features a game-ready M1 Garand, renowned as the first standard-issue semi-automatic infantry rifle for the U.S. Army during World War II. To bring this iconic weapon to life, I added a polished wood texture, incorporating subtle chipping, marks, and dust details using tile generators. These details add character and depth to the rifle.
In addition to the M1 Garand, I included the M1905 bayonet with its 10-inch blade design. To enhance realism, I applied wear details to the bayonet, such as slight dullness on the blade, which occurs from its close proximity to the rifle's muzzle during firing. The bayonet makes the rifle more versatile, ideal for close combat scenarios.
