Introduction

The client is a professor and a writer who wanted a website to promote his book which was a memoir by him. He also wanted it to be a place to host his academic writings and his youtube weekly podcasts.
The client expected the website would be done in 2 months (a very conservative timeframe) but I promised to have a website delivered in a week.

Project Consultation

After the client had expressed interest in employing my services. I sent a lead qualifying form to capture a high level understanding of what the client wanted for his website including what his expectations were in terms of budget and timeline of delivery. A discovery call followed later in which I had a conversation with the client around the information provided in the form I had previously sent him.
We discussed in-depth about the overall execution process; establishing who would be tasked with what - I was to take care of the design and he would provide the content for the website

Proposal Submission and Contract signing

The next stage was to create a proposal highlighting the work I would be doing and listing out the deliverables that would be provided upon completion of the project. The deliverables for the design project were:
Brand Creation
Digital Assets
Web Design
Basic Search Engine Optimization
Collateral Design
Brand creation was a complementary service that included in the package. It involved coming up with a color scheme, typography and designing a logo for the client.
After the client had read the proposal and signed the contract, work began.
Logo designed for the client that captures his beliefs and ambitions to be a spokesperson for peace on the global stage
