StaffGenius is an all-in-one platform for staff scheduling, roster creation, hour tracking, rule enforcement, and team management, complete with a dedicated mobile app. Originally designed a few years earlier, the platform required a revitalized experience, especially enhancing the clock-in flow and overall visual and functional design.

User-Centered Discovery: Started with user research to understand daily pain points, especially around clock-in and roster coordination, and validate design hypotheses through early prototypes.

Unified Visual Identity: Developed a refreshed, cohesive brand that carried across mobile, web, and social touchpoints, reinforcing the platform’s credibility and making interactions more intuitive.

Iterative Design & Testing: Prototypes were continually refined based on feedback, ensuring seamless transitions, responsive behavior across devices, and intuitive task flows.

Collaborative Handoff: Delivered polished design assets and specifications to developers, fostering a smooth transition into implementation.

The redesign reinvigorated StaffGenius, modernizing its UI/UX while significantly improving the clock-in journey. It made staff scheduling and time tracking more intuitive and visually appealing. Throughout the project, the client’s collaborative spirit enabled a highly smooth and enjoyable process. I’m proud of the way our interdisciplinary design efforts aligned closely with StaffGenius’s vision and mission.
