Brandyn wanted the logo to be simple, bold, and warm. He explained that Domasun is a combination of two separate concepts: “Doma” and “Sun”. “Doma” was a term that he used when he was younger to help him overcome difficult times. It is an acronym that stands for “Bran’DYN’s One Man Army”, reflecting his resilience and determination. The second part of the name, “Sun”, is derived from his personal experience of seeking comfort and relief from feelings of depression and motivation by being out in the sun. He wanted the logo to capture these meanings and also communicate Domasun’s qualities and goals to their target audience.

We decided to create a logo that consists of two elements: a stylized sun and the word “Domasun”. Using a pre-determined bright yellow color for the sun to represent warmth, happiness, and energy. We also made the sun look to symbolize excellence, creativity, and innovation. For the word “Domasun”, we used a bold and modern typeface to convey simplicity, confidence, and professionalism.

We created a simple, bold, and warm logo that perfectly represents the qualities and goals of Domasun. The logo shows that Domasun is a provider of excitement and satisfaction to its clients, as well as a reflection of Brandyn’s personal story and vision.

Serendipitously, we met Brandyn on an online Study Together platform, where he asked us to critique his recent website design. He was impressed by our feedback and decided to hire us to design a logo for his web design and development startup, Domasun, that he was about to launch.
