In 2017, over a million Rohingya refugees fled Myanmar’s genocide and sought safety in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, creating a severe humanitarian crisis. The situation demanded immediate attention to critical needs such as accommodation, healthcare, sanitation, and food security.
To address this, various local, national, and international organizations, along with UN agencies, extended their support to mitigate the crisis.
I contributed to this humanitarian response from January 1, 2018, to April 8, 2022, working with Research, Training, and Management International (RTMI) on IOM and UNICEF-funded programs. During my tenure, I held multiple roles, including Finance and Admin Officer, and Management Information Officer.
