Food X Tightening Wallets

The Food & Beverage team at Edelman needed more than just a report—they needed a visual experience. Foodx is a series of reports that explores how food culture intersects with today’s most relevant social trends. To bring it to life, they were looking for a design that felt as bold and flavorful as the topics it covers.

We cooked up a vibrant, modular design system built on a flexible grid, perfect for adapting across the series. Mixing full-color photo treatments, color blocks, and clean typography, we crafted layouts that are both structured and dynamic. Overhead food shots on bold, flat backgrounds created visual consistency, while a bright, desaturated palette kept things fresh. For typography, we paired the expressive punch of Stretch Pro with the clarity of Inter Tight, achieving a balance between personality and readability.
