Amazon Tarot Deck

In a daring Halloween collaboration with Prime Video, DJE Studio reimagined the classic 78-card tarot deck through the lens of pop culture. Each card transformed into a tribute to the platform's most beloved TV shows and films.

This project was a five-week creative sprint powered by collaboration and imagination. We began with concept sketches and used AI tools to extract original elements from vintage tarot cards, preserving backgrounds while making space for something new. From there, characters and worlds were rebuilt: AI-generated assets served as anatomical references that helped in the process of hand drawing the final polished illustrations, with detailed coloring and texture work that aimed to keep the authentic, timeworn beauty of the originals intact. The process was fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic, dozens of cards evolving in sync, brought to life by a multidisciplinary team working across design, storytelling, and motion.

A collectible deck that resonated far beyond expectations, earning praise not only from Prime Video and its audience, but also from the production teams and talent of each featured title. This project is a celebration of storytelling, design innovation, and the kind of cross-team synergy that brings even the wildest ideas to life.
