Ansiedad & Co. is a visual experiment in the format of emotional fast food. A fictional franchise with a catchy logo, a smiling mascot and a trauma menu with a childhood aftertaste. The project was born from the need to represent anxiety with irony — through a caustic, pop lens soaked in 90s marketing imagery and vintage design.
The main logo simulates a fast food brand, with retro red and cream typography on a dark green background. The tagline "With you since childhood" is the brand's emotional anchor. Paired with a blank-faced emoticon, it works as a punchline and a reminder that most of our modern ailments tend to come pre-installed.
It all started with one illustration: a food truck serving anxiety as a combo meal. What began as a visual satire on mental health evolved into Ansiedad & Co. — a brand with retro aesthetics and an acid-tongued message. This piece isn't just the starting point. It's the DNA of the whole project.
Benzito is an anthropomorphic pill with the charisma of a corporate mascot. His design is simple, likeable and straightforward — but his role within the narrative is considerably darker: he's the friendly face of our defence mechanisms. Always smiling, always ready to knock you out.
VISUAL DEVELOPMENT
The artwork combines digital illustration with a limited palette and recycled paper textures to evoke a feeling that is nostalgic, comic and slightly stale.
Ansiedad & Co. is a parody, but also an X-ray. It masks with style and humor what we sometimes don't want to look at directly. Like any good fast food product, it goes down easy — but takes a while to digest.
