ShoreCharge provides EV charging for short-term rental properties. The company was launching its website and service platform at the same time and needed a staged email sequence that could carry the announcement across multiple sends without the brand presentation breaking in different email clients.
Role
Email designer and ESP specialist. The ShoreCharge team supplied copy, photography, brand guidelines, and access to their existing HubSpot database. I owned template design, responsive build, cross-client rendering, and platform setup and delivery.
The sequence
Four staged sends: teaser, countdown, launch announcement, product showcase. Each ran on the same structural template with varied imagery and messaging focus, so visual cohesion held across the sequence without rebuilding each send.
Template design with shared content blocks
Production
Responsive HTML on table-based layouts for maximum email client compatibility
All links and buttons coded and checked for mobile interaction
Consistent brand application across all four sends
Built and delivered in HubSpot
Mobile view
Outcome
Delivered the sequence structure and template system ShoreCharge continued using for ongoing sends as its customer base grew.
What transferred
Sequenced sends are a production problem before they're a design one. Building one structural template and varying content inside it is what keeps a four-part sequence coherent — and what makes the fifth and sixth sends cheap.
