The Brief
Replit needed a high-impact landing page for Vibecon, their first large-scale developer conference in New York City, June 16–18, 2026. The event demanded an online presence that felt equally bold: editorial, technically refined, and built to convert.
The design direction was deliberate and minimal, large typographic forms, a muted palette, and a heavy emphasis on motion and scroll behavior. My job was to bring that vision to life in Webflow without compromising its precision, and to engineer the custom interactive logic the experience required.
What I Built
Webflow development. Translating a high-fidelity design into a pixel-accurate, responsive Webflow build while maintaining the typographic weight and spatial intent of the original concept. The layout required careful handling of oversized elements, precise positioning, and clean structure that could support the animation layer on top.
GSAP animations. Motion was central to the experience, not decorative, but structural. Scroll-driven reveals, number animations, and entrance sequences were all implemented with GSAP to ensure smooth, performant behavior across devices. The animation timing was tuned to feel intentional rather than automatic.
Custom form with dynamic UX. The invite request form was one of the most technically nuanced parts of the project. Rather than a static input-and-submit pattern, the form dynamically adapted its copy based on user input, creating a more personalized, conversational feel. After submission, the experience didn't end: it transitioned into an infinite scroll flow, extending engagement and keeping users inside the world of the event rather than dropping them onto a confirmation screen. This required custom JavaScript logic to manage state transitions reliably without performance degradation.
Performance architecture. With rich visual assets and full-bleed media driving the aesthetic, load performance needed active attention. I implemented custom loading strategies and structural optimizations to keep scroll smooth and time-to-interactive fast, even on media-heavy website.
The Result
A landing page that holds up to the Replit brand while carving out its own identity for the event. The editorial restraint, motion quality, and form experience combine to make it feel more like a product than a marketing page, which was exactly the goal.
Replit needed a high-performance landing page for Vibecon, focused on energy, clarity, and strong visual impact while maintaining performance and scalability.
