From Across The Street - Book Illustrations

This project was a delight to work on! It's an illustration focused book that tells the story of Pati, a Dominican girl that learns from her family the customs & culture of Dominican music.

I worked together with a colleague, creating the concepts for the characters, picking the colors & design of the book. We worked on this keeping in mind that the goal of the book was to reach kids, or teachers that could potentially use the book for educational purposes both for Spanish/English, and the music field.
