Client: DeFiVerse
Industry: Crypto and decentralized finance (DeFi)
What I did: Explainer video, from first idea to final cut
The problem
DeFiVerse is a powerful platform, but it isn't easy to grasp at first glance. New visitors couldn't quickly tell what it did or why it mattered.
They needed one video that worked for two groups: asset managers who wanted to know how the platform works, and investors who wanted a clear, confident picture of its value.
What I did
Learned the product first. Before writing anything, I studied how DeFiVerse works, who uses it, and where it fits in the DeFi world. A simple video only works if it's accurate underneath.
Wrote for a beginner. The script uses plain words. Where a technical term was needed, it was explained right when it appeared, so no one needed a crypto background to follow along.
Planned every scene. I mapped the video frame by frame so DeFiVerse could approve the story and flow before any animation began.
Made the ideas visible. Working with a team of designers, I turned abstract ideas, like how funds move through the platform, into clear diagrams, icons, and data visuals.
Chose the right voice. I picked an AI voiceover that sounded knowledgeable and calm, which suited a product that needs to feel trustworthy.
Polished the final cut. I tuned the pacing, transitions, music, and sound so the video stays easy to watch from start to finish.
The result
People who found DeFiVerse intimidating could now understand what it does and why it's useful, without the technical detail being watered down. The video gave the brand a clearer story, and DeFiVerse now uses it in its educational content and when onboarding new users.
Why it worked
One person owned the whole process, from understanding the product to the final edit. That kept the script accurate, the visuals clear, and the message consistent from start to finish.
