Explaining Optick: A Remote Workforce Platform

Client: QuantianTech Product: Optick, AI-driven workforce management What I did: Explainer video, from first idea to final cut

The problem

Remote work created new headaches for managers: missed deadlines, uneven workloads, and disengaged teams. Optick solves these with real-time tracking, smart task allocation, and clear insights, but a list of features doesn't win over a busy decision-maker.
QuantianTech needed a video that showed what Optick does and why it matters, in a way managers and business leaders could take in quickly.

What I did

Researched the problem first. I looked at what remote managers struggle with day to day, how existing tools fall short, and where Optick fits in. That kept the video focused on problems the audience already feels.
Wrote a six-scene story. The script moves from problem to solution:
A relatable look at what overwhelmed remote managers deal with
What it costs when tools don't keep up: missed deadlines and lost productivity
Optick introduced, with its features shown in clean visuals
Optick in use, with team adoption and customer testimonials
Animated data on cost savings, productivity, and retention
A clear call to action to learn more
Planned every scene. I storyboarded the whole video so QuantianTech could approve the story and flow before animation started.
Made features easy to see. I built motion graphics in QuantianTech's brand style. Harder ideas, like AI-driven task allocation, became simple animations anyone could follow.
Finished with polish. A professional voiceover kept the tone confident and friendly, and I tuned the transitions, pacing, and background music so the video stays easy to watch.

The result

The video made Optick's features easy to understand, even for non-technical viewers, and gave QuantianTech a clear way to present the product. They now use it in sales presentations, online campaigns, and webinars.
QuantianTech also plans to build on it with feature walkthroughs and customer case studies.

Why it worked

The video starts with a problem the viewer already has, then shows how the product fixes it. Because I handled the strategy, script, storyboard, animation, and edit myself, the message stayed consistent from start to finish.
