What Makes an Airplane Fly?

For this specific post, I wanted to showcase my academic history as an engineer. I wanted to make people understand how airplanes fly. Airplanes are something we all have travelled in once, but we do not know exactly how it flies.

I wanted to make people understand the basic scientific principles of an airplane. Since I follow the quote by Richard Feynman, "What I cannot create, I do not understand", I had to dig deep to get the solution.

I researched the topics, and I dug deep into my university education to find the simplest way to make someone with no knowledge of planes, understand how it works. Although it is way too simplistic, it gives a kind of an understand and people will still have the hunger to learn some more.
