GreenWave Solutions, a renewable energy startup, approached me to completely revamp their brand identity with the goal of positioning themselves as a leader in technological innovation and sustainability. The challenge was to create a modern, eco-friendly, and professional image that reflected their values, connected with their audience, and differentiated the brand in a highly competitive market. Project Process: Research & Discovery: I worked closely with GreenWave’s management team to understand their values, vision, and target audience. I conducted a competitive analysis to identify trends and differentiation opportunities in the renewable energy sector. I analyzed user feedback to understand current perceptions of the brand. Design Conceptualization: I developed multiple visual concept proposals that combine technological innovation and environmental awareness, using elements such as stylized leaves and energy waves. I created a color palette that balances natural green tones with technological touches in blue and gray, symbolizing sustainability and advancement. I presented three initial logo and typeface concepts to the GreenWave team. Visual Identity Design: Refined the chosen design concept, incorporating client input. Designed a complete brand identity system that included: Primary and Secondary Logo: A modern logotype, featuring an abstract leaf and flowing energy lines. Custom Typography: Clean, modern, legible, and with an innovative twist. Color Palette: Moss Green, Electric Blue, and Metallic Gray. Application Guidelines for use across a variety of media, from web to print. Brand Materials Development: Created visual elements such as business cards, letterheads, and corporate presentation templates, aligned with the new identity. Designed promotional graphics and banners for social media and digital campaigns. Client Presentation and Feedback: Conducted a full presentation of the new visual identity, explaining how each element reflected the company’s values of innovation and sustainability. Received positive feedback from the client on the consistency and modernity of the new identity, and approved the designs with minor modifications. Final Delivery and Launch: Delivered final files and a detailed brand manual, ensuring GreenWave could implement its new visual identity consistently across all touchpoints. Assisted in coordinating the official launch of the new brand, including its updated website and social media profiles. Results: Improved Brand Recognition: GreenWave reported a 35% increase in brand visibility on social media in the first 3 months after the rebrand. Increased Engagement: Customers responded positively to the new identity, leading to a 20% increase in engagement on their digital campaigns.
