Orbit is a mobile app for travelers who want to capture and share their journeys in a more intentional and beautiful way. Where most travel content gets lost in cluttered feeds and fleeting stories, Orbit offers a place to build narrative-rich timelines—one stop at a time.
Onboarding and authentication
First impressions matter, and I wanted Orbit to feel welcoming from the very first tap.
The onboarding screens introduce the core value of the app—sharing and exploring meaningful journeys—with warm visuals and calm transitions.
Users can quickly sign in via email or continue with Google, and a secondary call-to-action nudges new users to create an account and start planning their first adventure.

Journeys
Each journey is a visual story. Users can scroll through trips stop by stop, with pinned locations, photos, notes, and tags.
The Journey screen combines map-based structure with personal storytelling, while the Key Stop modal zooms in to focus on a single moment—using a vertically scrollable layout to handle varied content gracefully.
The experience is consistent, immersive, and designed for travelers to relive their memories—or invite others into them.
Profile
The profile screen is both a reflection of a traveler’s identity and a connection point for others.
Users can see their past journeys, travel stats (like miles, stops, and countries visited), and a live activity feed with Updates and Pings—short, in-the-moment status posts from ongoing trips.
This section reinforces Orbit’s social layer, while still maintaining a calm and considered design language.
