SMART - SERVICE OPERATION HUB

Enterprise Redesigning for Smart’s internal service dashboard

Smart Europe needed a unified, modern interface to manage its internal service workflows, from reception checklists to warranty claims and workshop operations. The existing tool was outdated, visually cluttered, and inconsistent with Smart’s brand system, making it hard for service advisors and technicians to efficiently navigate daily tasks.
The goal was to rebuild the Service Operation Hub (SOH) as a clean, modular, and brand-aligned dashboard that streamlines operations across all Smart dealerships in Europe.

Project Highlights:

✦ Brand-Aligned System Redesign — Rebuilt the entire dashboard UI using Smart’s official brand tokens, typography, and color system from the Smart Brand Hub, ensuring complete consistency across all digital touchpoints.
Streamlined Service Workflows — Consolidated job cards, vehicle lookup, and service checklists into a modular interface, reducing task duplication and cutting navigation time by over 40%.
VIN-Based Lookup & Job Creation — Introduced a dynamic vehicle lookup tool pulling data from Smart’s backend systems (contracts, warranty, ISP info), enabling instant job card creation and history visibility.
Smart Visual Hierarchy — Clean, light layout with refined contrasts and brand-accented highlights for technician visibility in workshop environments.
Performance-Driven UX — Optimized for multi-role use (service advisors, managers, warranty specialists), ensuring seamless scaling and handoff to engineering teams through a structured Figma system.
