LingoMate: a browser-first practice loop for English and Mandarin.

The problem A language-learning interface needs to make it easy to choose a path, practice a small concept, understand a mistake, and continue later.

My solution I built a responsive PWA around short lessons, example patterns, and mini-quizzes with immediate explanations.

Key features • English and Mandarin learning paths • Foundation lessons and grammar practice • Mandarin pinyin, tones, sentence patterns, and measure words • Browser speech features for listening/speaking • Locally stored progress and mobile navigation

Engineering notes Screenshots come from a working local preview of the public source repository. I am linking the code rather than presenting the unresolved home-server deployment as a working public demo.
