Client overview:
Our client, SQARP, is a leading provider of a sophisticated Product Information Management (PIM) system used by mid- to large-scale businesses to centralize and manage their product data. The system was already helping their clients manage product information efficiently, but as the e-commerce landscape rapidly grew, many businesses needed a more direct and streamlined approach to launching and managing Shopify stores. SQARP wanted to enable their clients to extend their PIM capabilities into the Shopify ecosystem with minimal effort and maximum efficiency.
Project objective:
To meet this demand, we developed an integration between SQARP's PIM system and Shopify. The integration was designed to automate the transfer of product data, reduce manual input, and ensure the seamless mapping of product details between the two platforms. This solution allowed store owners to quickly synchronize and update product information from SQARP to Shopify, significantly improving efficiency for businesses looking to move to both direct-to-consumer (DTC) and business-to-business (B2B) markets.

Seamless product data mapping and synchronization:
We ensured that product data fields in SQARP aligned perfectly with Shopify’s structure. This included not just standard fields (title, price, SKU) but also custom attributes such as product variants, descriptions, and media assets (images, videos).

The integration was built to be fully compatible with Shopify’s evolving architecture, which allowed SQARP clients to easily manage their Shopify stores without facing downtime or data issues. Whether it was a new product launch or a bulk update, everything was handled smoothly.
