What This Is
Notivent is a concept mobile app that sends event notifications based on location — no account required. This was a design exercise to explore frictionless mobile onboarding patterns.
What I Did
Defined the onboarding flow — 4 steps: download, set location, choose event categories, start receiving notifications
Designed each onboarding screen — clear descriptions, engaging visuals, and progressive disclosure so users understand the value before committing
Focused on zero-friction entry — the core design decision was removing authentication entirely from onboarding. Users get value immediately without creating an account
Why This Matters
This project demonstrates mobile-first thinking and onboarding UX. The design prioritizes immediate value delivery over data capture — a pattern that's increasingly important in consumer mobile apps.
