CARING WITH CLARKS – VISUAL CAMPAIGN

What does sustainability look like? - Visual Design & Brand Building
There was something enthralling about taking a client brief and being able to build a campaign that not only represented a core brand message but also moved towards building an imagined future and answering the question “what does sustainability actually look like?”.

That question was a tough one to answer honestly. I did know that creativity was going to be the catalyst though.
I believe that a successful take on sustainability as a marketing function comes with a sense of vulnerability and honesty. That’s why, during the Alliance Of Independent Agencies Diploma In Integrated Marketing, I presented, to Clarks, a visual information campaign that strips Clarks back to their roots to inform their audience of the sustainable practices that are occurring within the day to day runnings of the organisation. What is the purpose of doing so?
Some may see these as cool graphics that tell a story, I see it as a notion of confidence from a brand that has been around for over a century, to be able to strip back their legacy and focus solely on the mission statement, to inform and educate a new generation and more so to re-educate those long term customers, is a true informational campaign when paired with launching a new sustainability platform, works for each other.
