Cinematic Interview Platform Development for Riveter Studio
Building a Full Business Platform for a Cinematic Author Interview Studio
The client
Riveter Studio (CineLit) produces free cinematic interviews with authors, told in three segments: Author, Journey, and Craft.
The challenge
As the studio grew, running bookings, author onboarding, agreements, and production through email and manual steps became hard to scale. The founders needed one system to run the business behind the interviews, not just a website.
What I did
I started by improving the existing WordPress site, building out the blog, the Authors section, the homepage, and an author recommendation page.
I then planned and designed a full platform rebuild in Next.js and Supabase, bringing the studio's workflow into one place:
A public site with online checkout for interview packages
Automated onboarding after purchase, including booking, agreements, and author questionnaires
An author portal for uploads and updates
An internal dashboard for tracking each interview through production
Before development, I built interactive mockups so the founders could click through the workflow and approve it early, which kept the build focused and avoided costly changes later.
The result
The studio is moving from a manual, email-driven process to a single platform where a purchase automatically kicks off booking, agreements, and onboarding, giving the founders more time to focus on the interviews themselves.
