Project Background:
SeniorCare Solutions, a pioneering startup in the senior living industry, approached me to design a state-of-the-art AI-driven recruitment platform for senior living facilities. Their mission was to streamline the hiring process, improve staff retention, and enhance the overall quality of care for seniors. The platform aimed to match qualified caregivers with senior living facilities efficiently, leveraging cutting-edge AI technology.
Challenges during the project:
Scalability: Design a platform that can accommodate various senior living facilities, each with its unique staffing needs and preferences.
User-Centered Design: Create a user-friendly experience for both caregivers and senior living facilities, ensuring they can easily navigate the platform and find ideal matches.
Data Privacy: Address concerns related to the sensitive nature of healthcare data and adhere to strict data protection regulations.
AI Integration: Develop algorithms that accurately match caregivers' skills, qualifications, and preferences with the requirements of senior living facilities.
Design Process:
1. Research & Discovery
Conducted in-depth interviews with caregivers, senior living facility administrators, and HR professionals to understand pain points in the recruitment process.
Studied competitors and similar platforms in the healthcare and job-matching industries to identify best practices and areas for innovation.
2. User Persona Development
Created detailed user personas for caregivers and facility administrators to guide design decisions.
3. Information Architecture & Wireframing
Developed an intuitive information architecture that simplified the registration, profile creation, and job posting processes.
Created wireframes to visualize the platform's layout, ensuring a seamless user experience.
4. Prototyping & User Testing
Built interactive prototypes of key platform features and conducted usability testing with potential users to refine the design.
Gathered feedback from users and iteratively improved the platform's interface based on their input.
5. Visual Design & Branding
Developed a visually appealing and professional brand identity for the platform, reflecting trust and reliability.
Designed a clean and accessible user interface, selecting color schemes and typography that were easy on the eyes.
