A Warm, Tactile Brand Identity Built Around Stone, Sunlight and Sunday Living. Stone & Sunday is a visual identity exploration rooted in warmth, materiality and contemporary Mediterranean-inspired living.

The creative direction brings together earthy stone textures, architectural forms, expressive typography and a distinctive red, blue and ochre colour palette to create a brand world that feels refined without becoming sterile.

Visual Identity

At the centre of the system is a distinctive symbol combining a sun-inspired geometric arch with a circular form.
The mark creates an immediate connection to sunlight and architecture while remaining simple enough to function as a recognisable standalone brand asset.
It is paired with an elegant high-contrast serif wordmark, giving Stone & Sunday a sophisticated editorial character.
The typography introduces a sense of heritage and craftsmanship, while the geometric symbol keeps the identity contemporary.

Colour Palette

The colour system is intentionally bold but grounded.
Terracotta Red introduces warmth, energy and Mediterranean character.
Deep Architectural Blue provides contrast, depth and sophistication.
Warm Stone creates the neutral foundation of the identity.
Ochre Yellow adds a subtle note of sunlight and optimism.
Together, these colours create a visual language that feels sun-drenched, tactile, architectural and distinctly memorable.

Materiality & Art Direction

A major part of the identity is expressed through material rather than decoration.
Warm limestone, textured paper, natural wood, ceramic surfaces, brushed metal and soft textiles create a physical world around the brand.

Brand Applications

The identity was developed as an adaptable application system rather than a collection of isolated mockups.
The visual language extends across:
Environmental Branding Reception spaces, architectural signage, interior environments and branded hospitality touchpoints.
Packaging & Stationery Cards, envelopes, tags, printed collateral and tactile paper applications.
Branded Objects Key tags, ceramic pieces, trays, containers and other physical brand touchpoints.
Hospitality & Guest Experience The identity translates naturally into spaces where customers interact with the brand through multiple physical details.
Retail & Lifestyle Applications The system is flexible enough to extend into merchandise, packaging and everyday lifestyle objects without losing its core character.

The Application System

Consistency comes from repeating a small number of recognisable visual ingredients:
The Arch A recurring architectural motif that reinforces the relationship between the brand and its built environment.
The Sun Mark A compact, recognisable symbol that can operate independently from the wordmark.
The Serif Wordmark A sophisticated typographic signature that gives the identity its editorial character.
Material Contrast Stone against wood. Paper against metal. Matte surfaces against glazed ceramics.
Colour Blocking Red, blue, ochre and stone create strong visual moments without overwhelming the composition.
This allows the identity to remain recognisable even when the logo itself is not the primary focus.

Final Direction

Stone & Sunday demonstrates how a restrained identity can become highly distinctive through art direction, materiality, typography, colour and environmental storytelling.
The final visual language balances modern branding, Mediterranean architecture, editorial typography, tactile design and contemporary hospitality aesthetics to create a system that feels cohesive across both digital and physical experiences.
The result is a brand identity designed not simply to be seen, but to be felt, remembered and lived in.
